The Student Organization Excellence Award is a "Lifetime Achievement Award" for student organizations. This award honors a student organization demonstrating outstanding continuous programs, leadership and services

Organization nominated for this award must:
- Have had recognition status for at least the last five years.
- Display vision and take initiative to begin and implement tqsks related to positive change on campus
- Domonstrate successful collaboration between campus and community
- Effectively plan and implement an ongoing program
- Demonstrate organizational participation and teamwork
- Encourge leadership development in all members
