Welcome back CLP-ers!!! As February is flying past us, the Steering Committee thought a monthly newsletter would be a great way to keep y’all informed on what is going on around campus and would be a really cool project for me (Sarah Durkee) to add to my never-ending things to do!!! So hopefully this will be a plus in your life, not a minus and not something you just throw in the trash!! And now for the updates, life is good on the steering committee, we’ve been working really hard to make CLP events fun, help y’all network with each other and most of all, make friends! For all you freshman spring admits, think about applying to be on the steering committee, it’s a great way to shape the organization that you’re in and have a TON of fun! These fun little socials will also be happening about once a month, please feel free to give suggestions and fill out your comment card we have provided!! XOXO– Durkee CLP Spotlight: Laura Thomas The CLP Spotlight is a way to appreciate the hard work of our fellow CLP-ers and even advisors!! In this newsletter, our CLP Spotlight is on Laura Thomas, the most amazing advisor in the ENTIRE WORLD. Yes, the entire world. Laura puts in countless hours every week to help make CLP the amazing program it is today. She answers emails, she returns phone calls, meets with students all day and even offers advice to those who really need it. Laura stays late to meet with the steering committee every other week, puts up with our shenanigans and even makes some jokes herself. So thank you so much Laura, for all you do!! You’re amazing!!!
