bulletThe Basics

STEP 1: Orientation   *  STEP 2: Frog Camp * STEP 3: Connections

After Orientation and Frog Camp, there is only one more step to Horned Frog-dom: Connections.  One of the best ways to learn is to do it. That's why there are no textbooks, no tests...only discussions and great activities. STRENGTHS, time management, campus resources, study skills, teamwork and communication are just a few of the topics you'll explore. We're going to talk about the topics that matter to you...those things that could make the difference in your first year becoming the journey of a lifetime or just a quick road trip!

At the start of the fall semester, groups of approximately 20-25 first year students, 2 upperclass mentors, and a faculty partner meet for about an hour each week for 10 weeks. Whether in your class, at a service project, or cheering on the Horned Frogs at a football game, you can be sure it will be exciting and worth your while. This program is mandatory for all first-year students and all it costs is a commitment to your group.
