The Omicron Delta Kappa Society, Inc. (ODK), the first national honor society for college students, recognizes and encourages superior scholarship, leadership and exemplary character. Through membership in Omicron Delta Kappa membership, you can gain access to a network of 230,000 women and men who are also recognized as top scholars and leaders by their peers, numerous outstanding alumni members, contribute to leadership endeavors on TCU’s campus, and also receive personal recognition for representing the very best at TCU. Membership in ODK is a mark of highest distinction and honor.

TCU alumni, graduate students, faculty, staff, administrators and community leaders are also eligible to be members of ODK. In 2007, the TCU Circle was chartered and included the induction of campus leaders such as Chancellor Victor Boschini, Provost Nowell Donovan, Vice Chancellor Don Mills, Associate Vice Chancellor Barbara Brown Herman, Associate Director of Athletics Jack Hesselbrock, Dean of Communications William Slater, Dean of Fine Arts Scott Sullivan, and Honors Program Director Peggy Watson.
Students inducted into ODK represent the upper 35% of their class and are distinguished as leaders in:
- Scholarship
- Athletics
- Campus or community service, social and religious activities, campus government
- Journalism, speech, and the mass media
- Creative and performing arts
