Departmental/Academic:  Each academic department within the University has its own organization for the student interested in a particular academic area.  Many organization are open to anyone-- regardless of academic major or minor.


Fine/Performance Arts:  These groups involve students in artistic expression in the fine or performance arts arena.

Global & Political Issues:  These focus their efforts on global issues and political interests.


Governance:  Governance organizations serve as governing and coordinating  bodies with the University. 


Honorary:  These recognize students for their outstanding academic achievement.  Many require a high scholastic average, contributions to the University and community, and leadership abilities.


Military:  These organizations are affiliated with the military services on campus. 


Publications:  These provided printed publications to the University.
