Advising And Enrollment
The academic advising process will occur in several settings
scheduled throughout the entire Orientation program. It is important
that you attend all activities planned for you.
For information credit from dual credit or testing- check here-
http://www.acs.tcu.edu/Orientation.asp
Closed Classes
Students and their families should be aware that the University
commitment to high quality classroom experiences dictates the
closing of classes when enrollment in a specific section (time) is
at capacity. However, most course offerings are available at a
variety of different times (sections) so that a closed section
usually means a student will be able to take the course at a
different time. If all sections of a particular course are closed,
please be assured that every student will have the opportunity to
enroll for a full load of classes.
Language Placement
If you plan on taking foreign language classes at TCU, you will want
to review the language placement information to see what courses you
will need to start with.
Please see the Placement Policy
HERE.
Math Placement
Are you wondering which math class you should take?
Check out the Department of Mathematics'
website at
http://www.math.tcu.edu/mathcore.html to find out which math
course is right for you.
Students planning to take Calculus I, Math
10524 (engineering, math and science students, for example) should
review this information and take the placement test if necessary
BEFORE Orientation.
