Packing for Orientation
Casual, comfortable attire is appropriate
for all activities. Make sure to bring comfortable walking shoes.
Participants have a full schedule with little free time. All
alcohol/drugs (except prescriptions) are prohibited at Orientation.
Sometimes it is chilly inside buildings, so bring a sweater or
jacket! If you are
attending in January, you must make off-campus arrangements for
overnight accommodations, no rooms will be available unless you have
received a housing assignment from Housing & Residential Life.

other colleges/universities

Students, including those who live in the DFW area, are required to stay overnight.
