TCU Transitions

First Year Experience

First Year Experience Learning Community Educated Individuals
TCU offers programs and services designed just for First Year students centered on becoming a part of a learning community.

Your first year is all about finding your place in the TCU community: where you'll lead, what you'll learn, who you'll impact. The whole time, we'll be there to support you. You'll be independent, but you won't be alone.

Start off right with Academic Orientation, Frog Camp and Connections, where you'll connect with mentors from the faculty, staff and student body who are handpicked to help you find your right track. Our mentors will engage and challenge you to find your fit as an individual in a community of scholars. Through interactions with other students in the residence halls and classrooms you'll learn what life is like halfway around the worlds and in our own backyard.
